Diversity Statement

At Sprout, MBC, we are committed to fostering, cultivating, and preserving a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion. We are committed to employing the best people to do the best job possible. To, in turn, provide the best, most comprehensive, and supported services to our learners, their families, and our community.

The policy covers four specific areas:

1-    Recruitment: We believe that our employees from different cultures and backgrounds provide us with valuable knowledge and experience. We have developed programs to outreach to individuals from underrepresented groups to provide employment opportunities.

2-     Career Development and Training: Sprout, MBC rewards excellence and values training and career development for all employees. All managers are trained to effectively center diversity, equity, and inclusion across supervision and best practice.

3-    Employee Support: Sprout, MBC strives to provide a safe and supportive environment for all employees. We work with all employees to provide flexible work schedules, when possible, open communication and ongoing supervision, and training and support opportunities.

4-    Community Support: In addition to our commitment to our organization we are equally committed to the community that we serve. Many communities that we serve are under resourced and families don’t always have the necessary resources to provide all that they need to for their families. Sprout, MBC does it’s best to assist families in accessing all of the resources that they need to provide the best levels of supports for our learners. This includes but is not limited to, providing caregiver coaching, free workshops and trainings for families and community members, working with the local school district to support progress, and access to technologies when resources may not be available.

This policy will be reviewed by the administrative team annually to ensure that the value statements above are adhered to and are advanced to continue meeting the values of Sprout, MBC and the community that we serve.
